2) Visiting British Airways i360

British Airways i360 Viewing Tower is Closed

In line with government guidance, from Friday 20th March 2020, British Airways i360 will be temporarily closed. We will continue to follow official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England and will re-open when authorised to do so.

In the meantime, you can keep up-to-date with news from BAi360, including confirmation of when the attraction will be re-opening, via our website britishairwaysi360.com; on our social media channels @BA_i360; or sign up to our newsletter.

British Airways i360 flight tickets

We are automatically extending tickets, that have been booked for visits during BAi360’s closure, by 12 months from the original visit date.  To redeem an extended ticket, simply bring the ticket or your reference number on your future visit date.

If you have booked a BA i360 special event flight, i.e. Yoga in the Sky, we will automatically extend your tickets to the end of the year – so you can come again on a future date of your choosing.

If you prefer a full refund for your BAi360 ticket, please email bookings@britishairwaysi360.com and we will aim to contact you within 72 hours. For bookings until 30th April, please contact us for your refund by 31st March 2020, if we do not hear from you by this date, we will automatically extend your tickets by 12 months.

Gift Vouchers / Memberships and Annual Passes

All gift vouchers with a 2020 expiry date will be extended until 31st March 2021. Simply bring your ticket on your future visit date.

All Resident Memberships and Annual Passes will automatically be extended for the number of weeks we are shut.

Third-Party and Travel agency bookings

If you booked BAi360 tickets through a third-party agency or website (e.g. Trip Advisor, Get Your Guide, Booking.com, Buy a Gift etc.), you will need to contact the third-party directly to confirm the alternative options available to you.

No problem. Please contact us and we will look to get you on the next available flight, subject to availability.

With our Weather Guarantee, if we declare poor visibility status during the time of your visit, we will give you a complimentary return ticket to be used within three months.

Our Guest Experience team will let you know on the day of your visit if we are experiencing poor visibility status and will arrange your return ticket.

Visitors can admire 360-degree views across Brighton, the South Downs and, on the clearest days, all the way to Beachy Head (17 miles east of British Airways i360) and the Isle of Wight (49 miles west).

Yes, we’re open all year around except Christmas Day and a short period of planned annual maintenance, independent inspection and testing in January.

The flight lasts around 25 minutes, but you will need to arrive at least 20 minutes before your flight time to pass through security.

We have a gift shop, exhibition room and restaurant in our beachside building, should you wish to extend the experience.

Yes, you can purchase tickets from our Ticket Office, which is in a reconstructed tollbooth next to the attraction, or from our shop at beach level. Please note we cannot guarantee availability on the day and we advise you to book ahead, particularly during weekends and school holidays.

Resident Membership is available to purchase at the British Airways i360 Ticket Office. All applicants, including children, must be present when purchasing Resident Membership as a photograph needs to be taken on site. A £1 annual resident membership fee is payable on sign-up.

Resident Membership is available to people living in postcode areas BN1, BN2, BN3 and BN41. Students studying at either of Brighton and Hove’s two universities are also eligible.

Yes! At the point of booking, we advise that you speak to us about any mobility issues. Disabled people are also welcome to book a ticket for their accompanying carer to travel with them for free.
