Join us on Wednesday 15th November 2017, 3pm onwards, for a nationwide conversation about our #CivilSocietyFutures.
Sponsored by ICAEW South East Chartered Accountants in your area; we invite charities and not for profit organisations to take part in a discussion which will be fed back to Civil Society Futures, a formal inquiry which is informing Government and the Charity Commission.
We will aim to identify future barriers and challenges to our civil society organisations, to engage with our local community to provide collaborative support, and capture the trends and insights from the Conversation. Trends in Governance, GPDR, risk and re-focusing our efforts on beneficiaries will be hot topics.
Facilitating this will be Alex Spofforth, Deputy President of ICAEW South East and a local Chartered Accountant in the sector, as well as a charity trustee himself.
Also assisting is Clyde Williams of Sho-Net, experts in digital transformation for charities, with hands-on experience of helping civil society organisations to work effectively in a digital age.
This meeting is ideal for CEO’s and Chartered Accountants, but also trustees and volunteers.
The cost is £10 per person, which will be donated to a randomly selected registered charity which attends the event. Free BAi360 flights are available after the event, during which we expect the conversation will continue. Refreshments will be provided.
