UPDATE: We may be closed come Thursday (5th November), but the 8 Miles Away Art Exhibition is still going ahead. While enjoying your daily exercise visit our West Side event room to view the exhibition through the windows and support this amazing initiative.
Local artist Tony Mills will be exhibiting at British Airways i360 from the 5th to 22nd November West Side event room.
The free exhibition will showcase seven of Tony’s paintings as part of his ‘Eight Miles Away’ project. The project consists of eight paintings (the first has already been sold) of Brighton to help eight homeless people here in the city make a fresh start.
The stunning paintings, featuring Brighton scenes but with a homeless angle, are up for sale by ‘Silent Auction’. Signed prints are also available to purchase from tonymills.com.
All funds from the sale of both the original paintings and prints will be donated to The Foyer, Sanctuary Supported Living. The Foyer provides support to 16 – 25-year-olds in Brighton who require housing and rehabilitation.
If you would like to bid on one of the paintings via ‘Silent Auction’ you can do so here. Please note there is a reserve of £800 on each painting. Simply email the name of the painting you would like to bid on with your maximum bid in £.
The winners will be notified by Tony on 23rd November 2020.
Bids are welcome from any country worldwide by email, but please only register a bid if you are 100% serious as it will be considered binding. Payment should be made by bank transfer within 48 hours of being notified. Non-payment will mean the sale is forfeited to the second-highest bidder. The buyer is responsible for the collection, or packaging, or shipping costs on top of the price of the painting.
