Flying the Flag for British Tourism

As one of this country’s most iconic and respected travel brands, this deal offers great benefits to not only British Airways i360 in Brighton, but also the region. Putting the British Airways name to the i360 in Brighton is a wonderful fit:

  • With their huge presence in the South East, operating more than 40,000 flights a year from Gatwick airport, British Airways bring more people to the UK than any other airline.
  • British Airways already employ 2,500 people at Gatwick airport, 1,000 of whom live in Sussex, with a few hundred residents of Brighton & Hove.
  • By supporting the i360, British Airways will help further promote Brighton and Sussex to the international tourism market. Through this partnership, the South East as a whole will receive a major boost.

“We are delighted to have such a prestigious British and global brand sponsoring our ground-breaking attraction.

Our Chief Executive, Eleanor Harris said about the partnership: “We are delighted to have such a prestigious British and global brand sponsoring our ground-breaking attraction. British Airways and the i360 share a similar market regionally in the South East and a comparable international reach. We also share a proud history of engineering and design excellence.”

A Keen Interest in Engineering

This partnership also represents a shared vision for cutting edge engineering and design.
