Brighton i360 is partnering with two high-profile South East professional services firms in a commercial partnership aimed at building business in the region.

Chartered accountants Spofforths and law firm DMH Stallard have each signed a five-year agreement with Brighton i360 Ltd to work together to capitalise on the opportunities which the exciting new attraction and venue will bring to the region.

Eleanor Harris, the i360’s chief executive, said: “We are delighted to be working with two of the region’s leading professional services firms and we look forward to developing a partnership where, as a team, we can do some really ground-breaking business activities which benefit the entire region.

“Together we will launch an exciting new networking event at the i360 aimed at business leaders from the Gatwick Diamond and London, launching in 2016.”

As accounting partner to the i360, Spofforths will be providing full-service accountancy support, effectively running the accounts department for the new attraction, including payroll, management accounts and advising on tax allowances.

DMH Stallard will be providing support across a wide range of business and legal services, including employment, commercial contracts and property law.

Alex Spofforth, Brighton partner of Spofforths, which has offices in Brighton, Chichester, Horsham and Worthing, said: “We recognise that the Brighton i360 has huge appeal to attract business and tourists from London and further afield.

“We see it as being a great community and commercial asset to the region and we are proud to be associated with it as our portfolio of clients from Sussex to London grows.”

Spofforths are a future-thinking professional services firm of chartered accountants in Sussex with experience in a range of specialisms and sectors including property and construction, charities and not-for-profit organisations, education, healthcare, legal firms, pensions, agriculture and farming. They also specialise in working with entrepreneurs and small and medium sized businesses, helping to balance their private and business priorities as they navigate their way to sustainable success.

Richard Pollins, managing partner of DMH Stallard, which has its headquarters in Gatwick and offices in Brighton, London, Guildford and Farnham, said: “DMH Stallard is committed to Brighton so we are proud to be supporting yet another high profile initiative for the city.

“Over the last 45 years we have contributed to some of the most important strategic developments that have made the city the success it is today, including the Amex Stadium, the regeneration of Jubilee Square and the award winning New England Quarter.

“We have a long-standing involvement with the i360, as we advised Coast to Capital on its £4m loan to the i360.”

DMH Stallard is one of the most respected and forward thinking mid-market law firms in the country and is committed to building long-term collaborative relationships with clients. The firm has an office in Jubilee Street, Brighton and provides the full range of legal services to commercial and private clients.

Eleanor Harris continued: “We will be announcing more commercial partners and sponsors over the forthcoming months.

“We are pleased to be able to attract such high calibre businesses to work with us and have a commitment to working wherever possible with local firms from Brighton and Hove and Sussex.

“Spofforths and DMH Stallard join a growing list of talented local businesses supplying the i360.”
