A local’s guide to parking in Brighton

Our secret guide to car parking on a day trip to the city of Brighton and Hove.

We all know that parking in Brighton can be expensive, so we have put together a few suggestions of where to park that not only save you money but also allow you to see more of our great city. Check out our days out guides for some inspiration of what you can get up to on your visit.

Park for FREE at Brighton Marina multi-story car park* (BN2 5UT) and either:

  •       Hire a Life Bike (Brighton Bike Share) and cycle along the flat road / cycle lane into the heart of the city.
  •       Walk the 1.6 miles into the city along the seafront road
  •       Take the Volks Railway from the Marina to the Palace Pier

*Parking at Brighton Marina multi-story car park is available for up to four hours for free.

Park at Hove multi-storey car park (BN3 3BE) (9 hours £6)

  •       Hire a Life Bike (Brighton Bike Share)and cycle along the seafront cycle lane into the heart of the city
  •       Walk the 1.3 miles (25 minutes) to BAi360 along the seafront either on the promenade or the wide expanse of Hove Lawns

Park at Regency Square car park (BN1 2FJ) – immediately opposite BA i360 (9 hours £14)

Easy to walk to BAi360, the Palace Pier, towards Hove in the west or towards the Marina in the east

Distances:

  •       Brighton Marina to Brighton Palace Pier 1.6 miles, 32 minutes walking
  •       Brighton Palace Pier to BAi360 0.7 miles, 13 minutes walking
  •       BAi360 to Marrocco’s ice cream café in Hove, 1.1 miles, 22 minutes walking

Park at Brighton Station (BN1 4DJ) (all day £15.40)

Easy walk to North Laines, East Lanes, Brighton Seafront, Palace Pier and BA i360.

Distances: 

  •     Brighton Marina to Brighton Palace Pier 1.6 miles, 32 minutes walking
  •     Brighton Palace Pier to BA i360 0.7 miles, 13 minutes walking
  •     Brighton Station Car Park to BA i360 1.2 miles, 26 minutes walking
  •     BA i360 to Marrocco’s ice cream café in Hove, 1.1 miles, 24 minutes walking
