A Brighton Icon

Since it first glided up from Brighton’s famous beach in August 2016, Brighton i360 has been an icon of contemporary Brighton.  It’s now firmly established as one of Brighton’s favourite tourist attractions.

Brighton i360 is one of a kind.  Conceived and designed by Marks Barfield, the architects of the London Eye, the huge glass viewing pod is ten times the size of a London Eye capsule.  Visitors glide up slowly to 450 ft high in the sky, free to move around admiring the stunning 360O views of the city, the South Downs, and the expansive stretch of southern coastline.

In addition to the Viewing Tower the site also features the West Beach Restaurant & Bar, a suite of beachfront event spaces, a gift shop, the ‘How it Was Built’ exhibition, a ticket office and the West Beach Café Bar – both housed in replicas of the original West Pier Toll Booths dating from 1866.

Brighton is a thriving seaside city attracting millions of visitors from the UK and abroad each year.

Brighton i360 is the number one paid-for visitor attraction in the city.  Nearly 2 million people have visited the site since it opened.  As estimated 11 million cars and 9 million pedestrians pass by the attraction every year.

However, it’s not just visitors to the Brighton i360 site that a brand can reach. It’s also the billions of people all over the world who see Brighton i360 on TV, in print, online in music videos, news stories and on trending social media accounts. Just in the last year, Brighton i360 has appeared on Good Morning America, BBC1, ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Sky Sports, The Premier League, Channel 4 and Channel 5.

Brighton i360 is also the subject of considerable user-generated content thanks to its incredible structure and its awe-inspiring views from sunrise to sunset.   Combined with our own social media channels, Brighton i360’s digital footprint reaches more than 2 million people a month.

A Responsible Business

A kindred spirit is perhaps something that we all seek.  Brighton i360 operates with sustainability at its core.  Sound environmental practices include

capturing energy as the pod descends to power its ascent and the use of only green energy across the site.  Supporting local is inherent – from offering locally produced drinks at the Sky Bar to providing more than 50,000 free tickets to the school children of Brighton & Hove.

An Exceptional Experience

Brighton i360 is the backdrop to so many different experiences and shared memories.  It’s a celebration with a glass of finest English sparkling wine, it’s a marriage venue, a pop-up restaurant, a yoga studio, an adrenaline-fuelled adventure and so much more.
