We love a party at BA i360 and over the last few years we’ve seen quite a few on board the pod, from an incredible Fatboy Slim gig in July 2018; several wedding ceremonies as well as a private proposal; Pride Silent Discos and numerous corporate drinks receptions.

Milestone birthdays are always a good excuse to gather friends and family and throw an elaborate party. Traditionally we have always celebrated the ‘coming of age’ birthdays – turning 18 or 21. Nowadays though, 30th, 40th, and 50th birthdays are just as celebrated and often more memorable!

Your wedding may well be one of the most important parties of your lifetime, so unique venues to host the occasion are always popular choices with brides and grooms. Did you know that the BA i360 is licensed for wedding ceremonies? It is also a popular choice for a wedding reception flight when couples can have photographs of the day taken while their guests enjoy a glass of bubbly from the Sky Bar.
3.Popping the question
The step before getting married, the all-important engagement! Some think Eiffel Tower, others consider a Sky Dive. Earlier this year, on Leap Year day, we saw Bobby Davison propose to her partner Steve on a private morning proposal flight – not quite a party but definitely a cause for celebration.
4.Back to work bash
After lockdown, many companies will be regrouping after a long period of working from home and not having the opportunity to socialise. A lovely way to thank your team for their support and get employees re-engaging with one another is to treat them to a private sunset flight on the pod.

The music is loud and the pod is definitely pumping!
7. Dinner party of dreams
Slightly more sedate but no less splendid is a private Sky Dining event. The ultimate in special occasions for a celebration or a corporate event, a delicious three-course meal is served across three BA i360 evening flights. Each flight is different as the sky changes colour from dusk to dark, and the lights of the city switch on and the stars come out.
8.Child’s play
For a twist on the usual bouncy castle or indoor play centre party, why not consider a private flight on the pod for your children’s birthday party? The pod is a great space for kids to move around freely, imagining themselves as astronauts or giants looking down at the world below.
9.Disco fever
Every year since opening the pod has played host to our Pride Silent Disco event on the Friday before the Pride Parade and Party weekend – it’s one of the highlights of our annual events calendar. Silent Disco’s continue to grow in popularity and can sometimes be seen touring the streets of Brighton. A silent disco on the pod is a fantastic experience as you can dance away to the tunes whilst admiring the stunning 360-degree views.
10.Holly Jolly Christmas
A lovely way to start your company or family Christmas celebrations is to gather together for a private flight on the festively decorated pod. We can even arrange for Santa and his mischievous elves to make a guest appearance.
Private pod hire prices start from £899 for one extended 45-minute flight for up to 175 people – that’s just over £5 per person*. Ideal for conference delegates for post conference, pre-dinner drinks, or as a birthday celebration.
Private parties including two extended 45-minute flights, with a 15-minute comfort break in between flights, start from £2,750*.
